This is the day we start our trek back homeward. It will take us two days and not as many stops for scenery. The first stop is for Lucille in Sturgis Montana, so she can get a photo of the motorcycles for her son.

After this we head across southeast Montana on Hwy 212. Our first rest stop was at Broadus, and then onto the Custer Battlefield National Monument. This was very interesting, especially when I attended the informative lecture given by one of the workers at the center. We could overlook a large percent of the battlefield as he spoke.

We returned to I-90 and headed on west through Billings and to Big Timber where we checked into our hotel, then on to the Country Skillet next door for our final dinner as a group.

This will be our last night on the road. I spent the extra time in my room typing on a cemetery I have been working on. This was my pastime each evening until I was ready for bed. I was able to almost complete two although one needs proofed yet.
