Today it was a Continental breakfast at the Flat Creek Inn and bags out early so we can wend our way toward SD. We drove to the north, back into Yellowstone Park as we took the same route we came in for a ways. At Grant Village we again passed by the Yellowstone Lake and on to the Fishing Bridge where we had lunch. Before this we had many stops and much time for taking photos if we wished.

Following lunch we headed on east finishing the Yellowstone figure eight, out of the East Entrance to the park, and this took us to Cody, Wyoming as our destination for a bit, to visit the Cody Museum. We first checked into our rooms, and then spent a couple hours at the museum. I saw a huge cemetery across from the motel I was in, but no time to visit it. There were many different displays, one of which was rifles and another that I enjoyed was the various animal heads.

We had a dinner meal together in the Best Western Sunset Motor Inn and by that time it was getting dark and each one retired early. We were unable to have our rooms together here, so Dave had to do a bit of extra driving to get each of us to our respective places. I was in the group which had to drive to a different motel, some distance from the main one, although we ate all our meals together.
