This cemetery is located south of the SE corner of what is now called Highland/Calvary Cemetery, which lies on the south side of Hwy 20, and a block or two west of Aladdin Road.

When I visited this cemetery back in 1999 I was unable to find the name of it. I have since been contacted by Mark W Gardner who provided me with the following.

According to Mark W Gardner, Gonzaga Library has books which state this cemetery was named Immaculate Conception Cemetery and the church, with the same name, was on the land next to this cemetery. There may be more names in the records at Gonzaga but I am physically unable to research that now. One article says the church was rebuilt at the turn of the century which would be about 1900. This means the original church was much built much earlier.

From the 'Stevens County Reporter' I found that this cemetery was situated near the old church on what was known then as church flat, one and a half miles east of Colville. In that article it listed several names of burials in this cemetery marked by only a small picket or enclosure, which I did not find when I read this cemetery. I have placed an * asterisk following these names. If anyone else knows a name for a burial which I do not have, I would be happy to add them to my listing.

I personally did a survey of this cemetery Aug 20, 1999 and found it was not being cared for with many areas that appeared to be unmarked gravesites.
