To reach this cemetery from Highway 231 turn west onto Ford Wellpinit Road, which is the main street in Ford, and then turn north onto Ford Wellpinit Branch Road which becomes BA Hwy 1 as it extends north. The cemetery will be on your right after about 3/4 mile.

The cemetery is very old and yet it is still being used with most of the area well maintained. Maintainence is done by family members as a rule, although there may be a clean up day occasionally by the community. The cemetery is fenced with two gates which are kept closed, but can be entered. It is important to keep the gates closed.

I would guess there are 75-100 unidentified burials in this cemetery, some unmarked and some with wooden crosses which no longer have writing on them for identification. Most of these were on the north end, which was probably the older section. If anyone has a name I did not find or correction, I would be very happy to add it if you know for sure they are buried here and have proof of the error.

I visited this cemetery on Jun 10, 2007 and read all existing and legible markers and stones, using a digital camera.
