I have transcribed from Spokane County Cemetery Directory at the Spokane Public Library, compiled by John W. Witte, Jul 26, 1993.

Curby Cemetery is one of the unused cemeteries in Spokane County. It is located on the south bank of the Spokane River in Northwest Spokane County. There are six known graves and many unknown.

From the book by Ann Roberts, printed in 1989, I found the following, taken from oral history of Alice Blair Newell. Alice grew up close to the cemetery where her grandparents are buried, as well as an aunt and uncle.

Below are listed a few of the many who were buried here. The wooden markers that depicted the gravesites no longer exist, only flower plants growing over the graves or mounds of dirt, distinguish where the different graves are. There is no access to this cemetery.

Baldwin, Billie, a nice young man
Blair, Lawrence Wendell, b. Jan 09, 1896 in Deer Park WA, d. Nov 25, 1902., he was killed by falling rocks.
Duffield, Charlie, a homsteader of the area
Duffield, Malinda "Alice" Fraser, Charlie's wife
Logsdon, Minnie Blair, b. Jan 01, 1885, d. Dec 25, 1904 in childbirth, w/o Alvah Logsdon
Maxwell, Mr, who drowned in the river, he was drunk
