To reach take the bridge on the west side of town and turn right or south
after you cross onto hwy 97. Continue for one mile to Golden road, then
another half mile and you will see the cemetery on the left side of the
road.
This Riverview cemetery is owned and cared for by the Okanogan County
Cemetery District #4.
I walked Riverview Cemetery, Jun 22 and 23, 2000. I have transcribed
from the readings I did get. I later was able to compare my work with
the current Sexton files with were proveded to me in Sep 2002, thus
the reason for the update.
I completed this first work Mar 03, 2001. I have used an asterisk *
to denote it came from the Sexton file and there may or may not be a
marker. I also have digital photos of majority of them, which I am willing
to share, although some do not always turn out well.
I have placed a link, at the bottom of this page, to the Potter's Field
near Riverview Cemetery. I have not been able to find out if it is actually
a part of Riverview or a separate cemetery. I have it listed as separate
since it is not part of this Endowed Cemetery. One can see it at a distance
from Riverview Cemetery, on the hill and totally abandoned. I am told
they cannot bury in it anymore since it is not platted.
There are many markers which I could not photograph, due to the fact
they were small cement markers, overgrown by lawn.
