In south Okanogan from the main street which is 2nd Ave, turn west onto Conconully. Continue and keep hanging left up the hill to the cemetery, which is just under a mile.
This cemetery, which started about 1894, is owned and maintained by the city of Okanogan Washington. The records may be found by contacting the city hall at 120 N 3rd Ave, Okanogan WA 98840, 509-422-3600
Entries with an asterisk * are those found in a previous reading in Okanogan Cemetery Records, pub. 1991. When there are two asterisks **, they are from city hall records, with no more information. There are no photos and no markers for any of these.
I used a digital camera for most of the headstone readings, which I am willing to share if I have one you would like. If anyone has information of someone buried here which I did not find or corrections, I will gladly add or change it, if you send the information to me.
I walked this cemetery Jul 18, 2002, then transcribed in Nov of 2002. This includes all existing headstones and markers in the cemetery in Jul 2002.
