From Grand Coulee take Hwy 174 east towards Spokane for 2.8 miles. Make a left turn at the Spring Canyon Campground exit. The cemetery is in less than a mile on the left side of the road at 45387 Camp Ground Drive. A bit hard to spot.

Spring Canyon Cemetery was conceived by the Grand Coulee Lions Club. They purchased about 7 acres of land then had the cemetery built, with the first burial taking place in the fall of 1957.

It continues to be owned and maintained by the Grand Coulee Lions Club. It has been self-supporting for more than 20 years with a perpetual-care endowment fund. After 40 years, about half of the grave sites have been used.

This much needed cemetery services many towns in the surrounding area, such as Grand Coulee, Coulee City, Electric City, Elmer City and others.

I visited and walked this cemetery on Jun 22, 2003. I used a digital camera and have photos of all except a few with an asterisk following their names and/or records after Jun 22, 2003, provided by cemetery sexton, Birdie Hensley or from obits.
