Driving east of Kellogg ID on I-90, use Exit 57 into Osburn. Turn right onto Yellowstone Ave and continue south, turning right or west onto W Mullen Ave for 2 blocks, left onto N 1st for one block, right onto Yellowstone Ave again and then left onto Madison Street. You will find the cemetery on the right or west side of Madison Street.

This cemetery is owned by the city of Osburn ID. A portion of this cemetery was donated to the Village of Osburn in the last 1800s, the rest of the land is leased since Dec 14, 1982, from the BLM, for the Osburn Cemetery. Records are held by the Osburn City Clerk.

This cemetery is maintained under the city by a Cemetery board of five. It is surrounded by a fence, provided by the Osburn Lions Club, which surrounds both the Day and the Osburn Cemeteries, with no dividing fence between the two. I found it difficult to be sure I read each cemetery correctly when I came to the center, because of this. If anyone finds a name in either of these cemeteries listed in the wrong cemetery, please contact me.

I was provided a list of the plots by the city clerk, so I have included the location on these. If I have an asterisk * following an entry, this is identifying a name found in the city records that I did not find a marker or stone for, and have no photo of. These records will have no dates, just a name and location of burial. A few I found a stone for but were not in the city records by the name on the stone.

I walked this cemetery on Jul 27, 2006, reading all existing and legible stones and markers, using a digital camera.
