To reach Thorn Creek cemetery, from Moscow take Hwy 95 south to Thorn
Creek Rd. Here Hwy 95 continues in a southeasterly direction. We turn
southwest but it is more south for about 1 1/4 mile, the cemetery lies
west of the road a very short distance, maybe 1/4 mi in and up on a hill
to your left.
I was fortunate to have a guide, Andy Anderson, of Genesee, Idaho,
accompany me or I may never have found it.
This cemetery has become overgrown, but the area where the stones
are is fairly easy to access. One section has a slab of cement poured,
insetting each and neatly displaying 12 funeral markers, all of which
are for babies or young children. A couple of these were illegible.
I walked this cemetery on July 08, 2000.
