To reach it take Hwy 8 out of Troy toward Deary, for about one mile. Turn right or south onto the first road and left on the lesser road. As you continue the road branches. Take the left branch of the road, which goes on up the hill where you will find the cemetery.

The Spencer Cemetery is a very well maintained, family owned cemetery, which was established about 1903. Contact: Richard B Spencer, 4110 Hwy 8, Troy ID 83871

I read this cemetery on Jul 10, 2000, with Dorothy Smith as my guide, and then compared my work with one compiled by Dorothy Schell in 1980. Additions from her work have an asterisk * at the end of the entry. This means there is no marker now. We saw evidence of many burial sites with no markers.
