To reach this cemetery we came from Nanango heading north on the Burnett Hwy to reach Murgon, then west at Goomeri on the Bunya Hwy for a few Km. The cemetery easy to find right in the middle of the town of Murgon.
This transcription contains only the existing and legible headstone readings. If anyone has a name that is not included, which I either missed or there is no marker for, I will be very happy to add it to this reading.
I did not find out who owns and maintains this cemetery. I found it in very well maintained.
I used my digital camera to read the cemetery, so if I have a photo of all the existing and legible stones.
I walked and read this cemetery on June 01-02, 2002. Entries after that date are from obits and family.
